Strong Confidence in the Market as Buyers Focus on Homes, Not Just Prices
If you’re planning to buy a home in the UAE, you’re part of a growing trend. A new Market Pulse survey by Property Finder shows that 72% of UAE residents want to purchase property within the next six months. This is slightly higher than July’s 70%, proving that confidence in the real estate market remains strong, even with ongoing talks about rising prices.
Why People Still Want to Buy
For many residents, owning a home is not only about investment but also about stability, lifestyle, and building a future in the Emirates. While some buyers hope prices may go down, most are more focused on finding the right property instead of waiting for the “perfect price.”
Around 30% of people surveyed believe prices will stay the same, showing that many see the market as stable. Cherif Sleiman, Chief Revenue Officer at Property Finder, explained: “Even if price expectations shift a little, the commitment to buy remains strong. Residents are looking for the right home for their family or a good investment, and the market continues to attract buyers.”
What This Means for the Market
High demand is keeping the property sector active. Off-plan projects, ready-to-move apartments, and villa communities are all competing for buyers’ attention. Dubai and Abu Dhabi remain the busiest markets, with villas and mixed-use communities especially popular among families and investors.
Foreign interest is also growing. British buyers, for example, increased their investments in Dubai by 62% in Q2 2025, overtaking Indian investors. This mix of local and international buyers is keeping the market strong and offering more choices for residents.
Tips for Buyers
- Choose neighborhoods that match your lifestyle and daily travel needs instead of waiting for prices to drop.
- Look at both ready-to-move and off-plan properties to benefit from flexible payment plans and incentives.
- If you’re investing, focus on long-term value and possible rental income.
The Bottom Line
The UAE property market remains strong and attractive. With both residents and international buyers active, this is a time of opportunity. Whether you’re buying your first home, upgrading, or making an investment, many people are moving ahead with purchases instead of waiting on the sidelines.
