
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin during an official visit to Moscow, where both leaders explored ways to deepen the strategic partnership between their nations. Discussions also covered pressing regional and global matters of mutual concern.
During the talks, the two leaders reviewed the progress made in UAE–Russia relations, with particular focus on cooperation in trade, investment, the economy, energy, and space exploration. They highlighted the importance of these sectors in advancing the shared development priorities of both countries.
Sheikh Mohamed noted that ties between the UAE and Russia are built on decades of mutual respect and trust, spanning more than half a century. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships internationally and working collaboratively to address global challenges, promote peace, and encourage sustainable growth.
Both sides exchanged perspectives on various international and regional issues. Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE’s consistent support for peaceful and diplomatic solutions to conflicts, emphasising the nation’s role in promoting stability both regionally and worldwide.
