His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum inaugurated the first Middle East edition of the Doers Summit 2025 at Dubai Silicon Oasis, marking a significant milestone for the region’s innovation ecosystem.
The two-day event welcomed over 4,000 attendees from 115 countries, featuring more than 150 global speakers who explored critical themes including AI, fintech, digital infrastructure, climate tech, and sustainable mobility. Major companies including Delivery Hero, Waze, Google, META, and Oracle participated alongside numerous startups and venture capital firms.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ, emphasized that the summit strengthens connections between innovation ecosystems across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, aligning with Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s goal to position the city among the world’s top three economic hubs by 2033.
The summit’s composition was strategically designed with 50% founders, 20% investors, and 30% operators, creating optimal conditions for meaningful collaboration and deal-making. Over 40 startups showcased their innovations through dedicated exhibition booths and demo sessions, gaining direct access to investors and strategic partners.
Stylianos Lambrou, co-founder of The Doers Company, noted that attendance significantly exceeded expectations, reflecting widespread interest from entrepreneurs and investors in capitalizing on the substantial growth opportunities Dubai and the broader region offer.
Previously held in Athens and Limassol, the Doers Summit’s Dubai debut reinforces the emirate’s position as a global hub for entrepreneurship and technology. The event provided a strategic platform for cross-border collaboration, capital access, and shaping the future of the digital economy across multiple continents.
