Dubai Population Soars by 17,669 in One Month as Emirate Sees Record Growth

Dubai Population Crosses 4 Million Mark with Unprecedented Monthly Increase

According to the latest real-time statistics coming from the emirate’s Population Clock, Dubai welcomed 17,669 residents in just a month, placing it on one of the fastest growth trajectories ever seen in the history of the city. Data tracked by the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment shows the population of the emirate at 4,044,273 residents as of November 13, 2025, compared with 4,026,604 recorded on October 13.

Annual Population Growth Reaches Historic 208,030 New Residents

Growth is even more impressive over the longer term, with Dubai having added 208,030 new residents in just 12 months, swelling from 3,836,243 on November 13, 2024, to more than 4.04 million this week. This rate of growth is the highest annual increase ever for Dubai’s population statistics and further cements the emirate’s status as a global business and investment hub.

Dubai Welcomes 176,683 New Residents in First 10 Months of 2025

Earlier Population Clock metrics showed that Dubai gained 176,683 residents in the first 10 months of 2025 alone, with an average daily increase of 567 people. Dubai ended 2024 with a 5.5 per cent population increase, adding 208,600 new residents to reach roughly 3.86 million, up from 3.66 million at the end of 2023.

Real Estate Investment and High-Net-Worth Individuals Drive Dubai Population Boom

International reports indicate a rise in real estate investments by different nationalities, while more entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and high-net-worth individuals are relocating to Dubai. Such reports have attributed this trend to the emirate’s good investment climate, advanced infrastructure, security features, and relative ease with which businesses can be set up across key sectors.

Dubai’s Demographics Reflect Labour-Market Structure of Expanding Economy

According to the data from the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, by the end of 2024, the men’s share in the population, at approximately 69 per cent, constituted about 2.7 million residents, whereas women constituted about 1.2 million residents, reflecting the labour market structure of a fast-expanding economy powered by different sectors and global talent attraction.
