Dubai to Roll Out ‘AI Icons’ Across Key Sectors as Part of Tech-Driven Future

Dubai is set to introduce specialized AI Icons across various industries in a strategic move to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence into everyday life. These AI figures—digital or robotic personas—will act as virtual representatives or assistants within sectors like healthcare, education, legal services, customer care, transportation, and more.

The initiative aims to make AI more relatable and accessible to the public while supporting Dubai’s broader goal of becoming a global leader in smart governance and future technologies. Each AI Icon will be designed to serve specific sector needs—offering information, answering queries, streamlining services, and enhancing user interaction with government and private entities.

This rollout is part of the larger Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI), a city-wide plan to embed AI across infrastructure, policy-making, and daily services. Officials believe these icons will not only improve efficiency but also raise public awareness about the benefits and ethical use of AI.

The program is expected to evolve with public feedback, and the AI Icons may take different forms—such as chatbots, holograms, or interactive digital characters—depending on the environment in which they’re deployed.

Dubai continues to position itself at the forefront of digital innovation, with AI playing a central role in its vision for a smarter, more connected future.
