Emirati entrepreneurs have a unique opportunity to expand their business footprint in Abu Dhabi as new commercial tenders open in two strategic districts under the Mustaha programme.
Limited Commercial Land Now Available
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced tenders for commercial units in Khalifa City and Mohamed Bin Zayed City. Running from February 12 to March 30, 2025, this initiative targets Emirati-owned businesses registered with ADDED.
Strategic Locations for Business Growth
Khalifa City offers approximately 1,000 square metres of commercial space, while Mohamed Bin Zayed City provides around 1,393 square metres. These locations represent rare investment opportunities given the limited availability of commercial land in these well-established residential communities.
Supporting Local Communities
The commercial markets planned for these districts will enhance quality of life for residents by providing high-quality retail and service facilities that meet daily needs. This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s vision to strengthen local business ecosystems while serving growing communities.
How to Participate
Eligible Emirati-owned businesses can submit proposals through the ADIO website under the Request for Proposals section. Detailed submission guidelines are available via the Investment Map platform. All bidders must register on the respective eProcurement system to participate.
Growing Business Landscape
This tender represents Abu Dhabi’s commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs and creating sustainable commercial hubs within residential areas, contributing to the emirate’s economic diversification goals.
