Dubai, March 16: Interest in travelling to the UAE continues to remain strong among Filipino travellers despite temporary disruptions in regional airspace, according to UAE-based travel provider Pinoy Tourism.
The company reports that visa inquiries and travel planning activity are holding steady, reflecting sustained confidence in the UAE as a safe and reliable destination. Current demand stands at nearly 60% of normal levels, with 24% of travellers planning immediate trips and 36% securing visas in advance.
Industry experts note that travellers are taking a cautious yet optimistic approach—actively seeking visa guidance and monitoring travel updates before confirming plans. This trend highlights the UAE’s reputation for stability and efficient crisis management.
Imtiaz Hussain Nasir, CEO of Pinoy Tourism, emphasized that the UAE continues to operate with “remarkable efficiency” even during regional uncertainty. He added that the strong emotional and economic ties between the Filipino community and the UAE are key drivers of continued travel demand.
Travel between the UAE and the Philippines has historically been robust, with an estimated 4,000 to 6,000 daily passengers travelling for work, family visits, and tourism. Despite short-term fluctuations in passenger volumes due to airspace adjustments, many Filipino residents are choosing to remain in the UAE, reinforcing trust in the country’s stability.
To support travellers, Pinoy Tourism has enhanced its 24/7 customer support and strengthened coordination with airline partners to ensure smooth travel experiences.
As conditions stabilise, experts expect travel flows between the UAE and the Philippines to remain steady, supported by deep-rooted community ties and continued confidence in the UAE market.
