This is a crucial moment for UAE businesses. If you haven’t yet registered or filed, now is the time to act. Completing the process by July 31 ensures you benefit from the penalty waiver and remain in full compliance under the UAE’s Corporate Tax framework.
The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has issued a final alert to businesses and exempt entities: July 31, 2025 is the last day to avoid a AED 10,000 late‑registration fine and qualify for the penalty waiver initiative.
According to the FTA, companies whose first tax period covers the calendar year from January 1 to December 31, 2024, must both register for corporate tax through the EmaraTax platform and file their corporate tax return or annual declaration by the end of July
If those steps are completed on time, the AED 10,000 penalty for late registration will be automatically waived—regardless of whether it had already been imposed
Advice of the day : Submit your first Corporate Tax Return or annual declaration by this date.
