Majid Al Futtaim‘s newly launched Ma’an programme — designed to give UAE small businesses free access to some of the country’s most high-traffic retail and entertainment venues — has been met with strong demand since opening applications in April 2026, underscoring how urgently the SME community is seeking support amid the ongoing regional conflict.
Launched in partnership with Dubai SME, Ma’an is designed to give promising UAE-based small and medium-sized businesses a direct pathway to one of the region’s most powerful consumer ecosystems. Selected brands are able to showcase their products where millions of customers shop, dine, and spend their time.
The programme offers month-long physical pop-ups across Majid Al Futtaim malls and stores, alongside digital promotion through the SHARE loyalty app, social media, mall screens, and influencer partnerships. In addition to physical retail opportunities, participating businesses benefit from Majid Al Futtaim’s marketing and communications platforms, giving entrepreneurs access to audiences and brand-building opportunities that can often take years to unlock.
Ahmad Al Room Almheiri, Acting CEO of Dubai SME, described the initiative as reflecting the importance of strategic public-private collaboration in creating practical growth opportunities for SMEs, enabling entrepreneurs to strengthen market access, build brand visibility, and accelerate commercial growth.
The programme builds on Dubai’s AED 1 billion economic support package and aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s goal of doubling the emirate’s economy by 2033. Applications are open to UAE-based businesses operating for at least 12 months with a compelling brand story.
