The Court of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has announced the death of Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid bin Muhammad Al Qasimi on Monday, September 22.
A funeral prayer will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at 10:00am at King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah, followed by burial at Al Jabil Cemetery.
An official three-day mourning period will begin on Tuesday. Condolences for men will be received at the majlis of Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Muhammad Al Qasimi in the Al Rumaila area of Sharjah for three days starting tomorrow.
Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid was the son of the late Sheikh Khalid bin Muhammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who ruled Sharjah from 1965 to 1972. He was the brother of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, as well as Sheikh Faisal, and the late Sheikhs Muhammad and Ahmed.
