What Is the SFCSI?
The SFCSI is a centralised, highly secure, and fully isolated digital infrastructure designed to host the UAE’s critical banking data, applications, and financial services. Unlike conventional cloud platforms that depend on third-party global providers, this home-grown solution keeps all sensitive financial data within national borders under direct regulatory oversight.
The platform is a core pillar of the CBUAE’s Financial Infrastructure Transformation (FIT) Programme, which aims to position the UAE as a world-leading hub for secure and innovative financial services.
