The visit, which included a notable stop at Yas Mall, underscores the growing warmth between the two Arab nations at a critical moment for regional stability.

Key Outcomes of the UAE-Egypt Presidential Summit

The two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation with a focus on areas that support shared development goals and promote long-term prosperity for both nations. They also exchanged views on pressing regional developments and their broader implications for security and stability across the Middle East.

President El-Sisi used the occasion to formally reiterate Egypt’s condemnation of Iranian attacks that have targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure within the UAE. He affirmed Egypt’s unwavering solidarity with the UAE and expressed full support for all measures the UAE takes to protect its sovereignty, territory and people.

UAE-Egypt Defence Cooperation on Display

Earlier in the visit, both presidents reviewed the Egyptian fighter jet detachment stationed on UAE soil, assessing operational readiness and joint efforts to strengthen military capabilities. The review was attended by senior UAE officials including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Minister of State for Defence Affairs.

El-Sisi also visited the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, reflecting Egypt’s interest in learning from the UAE’s advances in technology and innovation.
