UAE and Egypt have reaffirmed their deep strategic partnership following a high-level meeting between UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Abu Dhabi. The visit, which included a notable stop at Yas Mall, underscores the growing warmth between the two Arab nations at a critical moment for regional stability.

President El-Sisi used the occasion to formally reiterate Egypt’s condemnation of Iranian attacks that have targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure within the UAE. Earlier in the visit, both presidents reviewed the Egyptian fighter jet detachment stationed on UAE soil, assessing operational readiness and joint efforts to strengthen military capabilities. The review was attended by senior UAE officials including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Minister of State for Defence Affairs.
El-Sisi also visited the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, reflecting Egypt’s interest in learning from the UAE’s advances in technology and innovation.
