The UAE healthcare sector has undergone remarkable expansion. Hospital numbers increased 145% between 2006 and 2024, while hospital bed capacity nearly doubled. Annual healthcare spending surged from $5.1 billion to $27.2 billion during this period.

The UAE’s economic transformation has been equally impressive. Real GDP rose 94% to exceed $481 billion in 2024, while foreign direct investment inflows jumped from $12.8 billion to $45.8 billion. Non-oil foreign trade increased nearly sixfold to approximately $816 billion.
