Dubai, UAE — The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) has launched a striking new brand identity, underscoring its evolution from a citywide initiative into a lasting movement for health and wellbeing. The reveal came at a recognition event honouring the government bodies, schools, companies, fitness partners, and community groups that have powered DFC’s growth.
Ninth edition set for November 1–30, 2025
Aligned with the UAE’s Year of Community, DFC returns from November 1 to 30, 2025, inviting residents and visitors to commit to 30 minutes of activity for 30 days.
Community momentum and leadership
Opening the ceremony, Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council and CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, thanked the individuals and organisations behind DFC’s success, noting that more than 13 million people have taken part since 2017. Reflecting on his own fitness journey, Belhoul said the Challenge continues to unite friends, families, and workplaces around a healthier lifestyle—an impact set to deepen during the Year of Community.
Launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, DFC was created to make daily movement simple and achievable. Participation has more than tripled since inception, supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and reinforcing the emirate’s global reputation for business, lifestyle, and wellbeing.
A refreshed look for an inclusive mission
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, introduced the updated visual identity—a dynamic mark with vivid colours and energetic lines—designed to reflect DFC’s inclusive spirit and Dubai’s forward-looking character. The refreshed brand serves as a rallying call for wider participation and long-term impact.
