Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has launched a new daily flight route connecting Kuwait to the UAE, offering a critical lifeline for travellers amid ongoing regional disruptions.
The service operates between Kuwait and Al Ain International Airport via Qaisumah Airport in Hafar Al Batin, Saudi Arabia, with passengers transported overland by bus between Kuwait and Qaisumah before boarding their flights.
Why It Matters
The Al Ain route marks the first air link between Kuwait and the UAE since operations at Kuwait International Airport were suspended, making Jazeera Airways the only airline currently operating out of Kuwait.
Gateway to Dubai and Abu Dhabi
For UAE-based travellers and the wider business community, the timing is significant. The flights provide onward access to international destinations through nearby hubs, including Dubai International Airport and Zayed International Airport, supporting both family reunions and essential business travel.
Growing Regional Footprint
This route is part of a wider push by the airline to maintain Gulf connectivity. Since March 11, Jazeera Airways has transported more than 6,000 passengers through alternative routes and newly introduced services, also launching flights to Egypt, Jordan, and Colombo — the latter currently fully booked due to high demand.
Book Your Tickets
Passengers can book flights, manage reservations, and check schedules through the Jazeera Airways official website or its mobile app.
As the Gulf’s aviation landscape adapts to evolving conditions, Jazeera Airways is positioning itself as a reliable connector for the region’s most essential travel corridors.
