Central Bank of UAE to host Regional Financial Inclusion Summit in November
The CBUAE will host the MENA Leaders’ Summit on Financial Inclusion 2025, a major milestone for regional financial development, between November 17-18 in Abu Dhabi.
Taking place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice
President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, the summit will bring together policymakers, central bank governors, and financial sector leaders from the Middle East and North Africa region.
UAE Collaborates with World Bank and Arab Monetary Fund on Financial Development
In cooperation with the Arab Monetary Fund and the World Bank, the summit will be held under the theme “Shaping Regional and Global Agendas.” The landmark event demonstrates the
UAE’s continued drive to advance financial inclusion initiatives and further cements Abu Dhabi’s status as a major international financial center.
National Strategy for Financial Inclusion 2026-2030 to be unveiled at Abu Dhabi Summit
Strategic announcements will include the official launch of the UAE’s National Strategy for Financial Inclusion 2026-2030. A comprehensive framework that guarantees equal opportunities in access to financial services for all social segments along with presenting the Arab regional edition of the Global Findex Database to inform evidence-based policymaking.
CBUAE Governor reflects on UAE’s leading position in digital financial innovation
His Excellency Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE, highlighted that holding the summit showcases the country’s forward-looking leadership in developing a progressive and inclusive financial sector. The meeting will be directed at strengthening partnerships toward the development of digital innovation, customer protection, gender equality, and financial fitness across the region.
Abu Dhabi Principles for Digital Financial Inclusion to Set MENA Policy Framework
On the last day of the summit, the “Abu Dhabi Principles for Digital Financial Inclusion” will be issued, outlining shared commitments and policy priorities to strengthen inclusive finance throughout the MENA region. The UAE will also be announced as the host nation for Global Money Week 2026, a global initiative promoting financial literacy among young people.
