The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has revealed the full programme for the Arab Media Summit 2026, the region’s largest media gathering, set to take place from 31 March to 2 April 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the summit is shaping up to be its most expansive edition to date.
A New Structure: 10 Forums Under One Roof
For the first time, the summit will consolidate around 10 specialised forums under a single umbrella, a shift that reflects a broader view of media as an integrated ecosystem rather than isolated disciplines. Key platforms include the Arab Media Forum, Government Communication Forum, Arab Youth Media Forum, eGaming Forum, Film Forum, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit.
Global Partnerships and International Reach
The 2026 edition brings significant international weight. The summit will host Reuters’ Future of News Forum and collaborate with the Financial Times on the FT Global Affairs and Business Council, Dubai Edition, alongside workshops led by digital technology specialists and global media organisations.
What’s New This Year
The Government Communication Forum makes its debut this year, adding a strategic layer to the programme. The DXB500 initiative, designed to develop the skills of Dubai’s government communication leaders, will culminate in a graduation ceremony and a masterclass with Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
Three major awards will also be presented: the Arab Media Award (25th edition), the Ibda’a Arab Youth Media Award (10th edition), and the Arab Social Media Influencers Award (6th edition).
The 2025 edition drew over 8,000 participants from 26 countries across 175 sessions, a benchmark the 2026 edition is firmly positioned to surpass.
